Astronomy Photographer of the Year
Put simply, I came to like science through a fascination for space (cards on the table: fiction-in-space). I think this is a common way for young people to become interested in the scientific universe. The Astronomy Photographer of the Year (from the Royal Observatory Greenwich) competition captures (partially) why.
